ONGOING PROJECTS:

 

Aquatic Invasive Species Volunteers: We have on-going education, outreach and monitoring needs in Manitowoc and Sheboygan counties.  If you care about preventing the spread of AIS, are willing to participate in the brief training, and have a day or two a month, please contact us.

Social Media Manager: Do you love creating engaging content for social media? We need you to help keep our Facebook page up to date! We are looking for someone to create 3-4 posts a week. Content would include promoting upcoming events, sharing photos from community events, and posting educational materials about our current projects i.e. aquatic invasive species, healthy forests, etc.

Employment Opportunities

Invasive Species Management Intern:
Glacierland RC&D is seeking several invasive species management interns for a limited-term position for the summer of 2023. This position will include a diverse work experience. The primary duties of this position will be conducting restoration activities and invasive species treatments with Stantec Consulting Services Inc. ecosystem restoration crews, including tree planting, seeding, and the application of aquatic-approved herbicides in Manitowoc, Sheboygan, Calumet, Fond du Lac, Ozaukee and Kewaunee counties. This position is anticipated to begin in late May 2023 and run through August 2023.

Clean Boats Clean Waters Watercraft Inspector

Glacierland RC&D is seeking watercraft inspectors for the Clean Boats Clean Waters program in Manitowoc & Kewaunee Counties. This is a part time, 15-20 hour per week limited term position for May - August 2023.  Multiple positions are needed.
