Aquatic Invasive Species Volunteers: We have on-going education, outreach and monitoring needs in Manitowoc and Sheboygan counties.  If you care about preventing the spread of AIS, are willing to participate in the brief training, and have a day or two a month, please contact us.

Social Media Manager: Do you love creating engaging content for social media? We need you to help keep our Facebook page up to date! We are looking for someone to create 3-4 posts a week. Content would include promoting upcoming events, sharing photos from community events, and posting educational materials about our current projects i.e. aquatic invasive species, healthy forests, etc.

Employment Opportunities

Resource Conservationist - Green Bay, WI

Work in a joint capacity with Glacierland Resource Conservation & Development Council, Inc. (Glacierland RC&D) and Brown County to promote, accelerate enrollment, and coordinate and implement the conservation provisions of the Farm Bill. The position will be based in the Brown County Land & Water Conservation Department office in Green Bay, Wisconsin and will provide conservation technical assistance to landowners in Brown County. The incumbent will be an employee of Glacierland RC&D and will receive daily guidance as needed from Brown County staff.

Resource Conservationist - Wisconsin

The Resource Conservationist will work with conservation partners, including Syngenta Crop Protection, LLC to promote, accelerate enrollment, coordinate and implement the conservation provisions of the Farm Bill and Syngenta conservation programs. The position will be remote based and will provide outreach, training, and technical assistance to agricultural producers and project partners in southern Wisconsin.      


This position is responsible to build trusted relationships with producers and Syngenta customers and will communicate the value of conservation planning, will write and help execute conservation plans for producers, will provide training for Syngenta staff, and will conduct outreach. 


The funding for this position is provided through a grant from the National Association of Conservation Districts with support from industry partners and is funded for an approximate one-year term with renewal options dependent on funding availability and program success.
