Aquatic Invasive Species Volunteers: We have on-going education, outreach and monitoring needs in Manitowoc and Sheboygan counties.  If you care about preventing the spread of AIS, are willing to participate in the brief training, and have a day or two a month, please contact us.

Social media manager: Do you love creating engaging content for social media? We need you to help keep our Facebook page up to date! We are looking for someone to create 3-4 posts a week. Content would include promoting upcoming events, sharing photos from community events, and posting educational materials about our current projects i.e. aquatic invasive species, healthy forests, etc.

Soil Conservationist

Glacierland Resource Conservation & Development Council (Glacierland RC&D) is seeking 5 Soil Conservationists to work in partnership with USDA Natural Resources Conservation Services (NRCS) in Northeast Wisconsin.  


These positions will work in a joint capacity with Glacierland RC&D and  NRCS to promote, accelerate enrollment, and coordinate and implement the conservation provisions of the Farm Bill.  Positions will be based in Appleton, Chilton, Green Bay, Juneau, and Manitowoc, Wisconsin, and will provide conservation technical assistance to agricultural producers located in Northeast Wisconsin.  The positions will be responsible for a variety of duties which assists NRCS District Conservationists and Area Staff Specialists in developing and carrying out a coordinated natural resources conservation program that is tailored to customers' needs and meets USDA and NRCS requirements. 


A Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in natural resource management, soil conservation, or related agricultural field is required and preference will be given to candidates with work experience in conservation planning.
